The entire staff is very professional and friendly. From the cleanliness of the facility to the check in process, to the large board on the lobby with a list of prices for different services ( which they provide an extensive list of services and testing) to the wait time to receive medical care it was just easy and not frustrating. GuideWell is a new urgent care facility in the area, but make no mistake they are on a different level than any other urgent care I’ve been to before. That is where I will go, where I will send my husband, son and anyone I care for. The women at the reception desk were so patient walking me thru the sign in registration and the kindness continued with every person I came in contact with during my appointment. We all know the turn health care has taken secondary to insurance companies interference and manipulation of the system but some how this clinic provides 5 star service and actually care about the patient. As a nurse I am more critical of healthcare providers and this clinic exceeded all my expectations and I was so very pleasantly surprised. The Nurse Practitioner Mary was phenomenal! I would love to have her as a primary. I will continue to use this facility and refer everyone I know there. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional but in a very warm caring way. I am a critical care nurse I was referred by a nurse and my experience was wonderful. I have used many other urgent care’s in my local area over the years and refuse to go back to any one of them. Currently, patients can make an appointment, but with all the walk in traffic, it is virtually impossible to handle the work load. You need more than one NP and one PA on duty at all times. Now, that more and more patients are coming in for care, in my opinion, changes have to be made to accommodate everyone. Most were making appointments, and felt comfortable coming in to Urgent Care, especially, with the sanitizing of the facility, masks required, and terrific spacing of the chairs in the waiting room. Little by little people started visiting these facilities, because they needed care. I realize when Covid-19 broke out, people were reluctant to visit a hospital or any medical facility. The staff is overwhelmed with the amount of patients coming in. There is one problem I’ve noticed in recent visits. Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of being treated and helped by Yasmina, who is an outstanding Physicians Assistant. ![]() She always makes the proper diagnosis, and prescribes what ever is necessary to cure my ailments. Next is Trish, who is the best Nurse Practitioner I have ever met. She is extremely friendly and professional. The staff is incredible, starting at the front desk where Nicole does a phenomenal job, dealing with all the patients. I have been using restore urgent care for the past 4 years, regarding any medical issues I have had. They take patients during all hours of operations, which offer a significant convenience to most people who have and continue to undergo the need for sudden and immediate medical attention. Urgent care clinics are located in most parts of the country in various regions to offset emergency room visits and provide a gap in healthcare services. ![]() The good thing is that most urgent care clinics will accept major PPOs and insurance cover, Medicare, as well as self-pay in the form of credit cards or cash. For regular visits and check-ups on these clinics, you should expect to pay between $20 and $100. Most urgent care facilities offer both diagnostic and preventive care such as well visits, immunizations, STD testing and annual physicals. ![]() In simple terms, an urgent care is seen as a walk-in health center that focuses in offering non-emergent health care conditions, including the treatment of the typical illnesses and injuries such as fractures and sprains, cuts and burns, scrapes, stings and bites, flu and cold symptoms, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, and much more. The difference, however, is that ERs are meant to treat major, life-threatening injuries and illnesses while urgent care centers manage life’s minor bruises and bumps. In that manner, they are similar to an emergency room. Urgent care are available to assist patients that are looking for immediate, convenient medical care.
